Internet Tax Freedom Act Extended

On September 30 2015, Congress extended the Internet Tax Freedom Act as part of Short-Term Spending Bill, which includes provisions extending the Internet Tax Freedom Act through December 11, 2015. The bill will now head to the President for his signature.

The Internet Tax Freedom Act was initially implemented in 1998, and it was extended before in September 2014 for a month . Permanently eliminating a tax on internet access could prove an important step for the internet economy.
